The prototype was printed with Polymaker gray PLA plastic. The choice of material was due to the high quality of the side surfaces, and the relatively good strength on thin-walled products. There were supports inside that were mechanically removed before transferring the model to the customer. Printing took about 12 hours, and the positioning on the table was chosen close to vertical to hide the supported planes inside the model.
