Preformed billet for wire mechanism

We used an STL 3D model to print the part. The model was checked for polygon errors before being loaded into the 3D printer. A water-soluble support material was used to print because the model contains surfaces with a smoothly varying overhang angle. The hub was printed life-size and over 500 grams of plastic was used, despite the fact that 20% filler was used inside.
